Stephanie Cooper, LPC
Passionate. Energetic. Motivating. These are the words people often use to describe me. As a former NCAA field hockey player and coach, I understand the unique challenges that high achievers face - the constant pressure to perform, the struggle to find balance and the elusive search for authentic self-connection.
My journey from athletics to mental health counseling has given me a profound appreciation for how we can harness our drive while still creating space to breathe and connect with ourselves. Each week in our sessions, I’m committed to helping you feel a little more grounded and a little more like your true self.
I integrate evidence-based techniques including CBT, solution focused strategies and motivational interviewing to create a therapy experience that is:
Freeing: challenge old patterns that no longer serve you
Calming: Develop practical tools to manage stress and anxiety
Confidence building: rediscover your strengths and inner resources
My Approach
Beyond the Office
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me at a HIIT or pilates class or finding my center in yoga. I am currently trying to read more and love feeling lost in the pages of a good book. This past September, I got married and we enjoyed an incredible trip to Ireland and Italy. I am a serious beach lover and love soaking up the sun at our favorite beaches in Sarasota, FL and Avalon, NJ. I am from Doylestown, PA and love a good walk around town. At the end of a long day of sessions, I’m usually unwinding with my guilty pleasure - Real Housewives.
